Becoming an MLP Consultant means commencing a career which gives you freedom, independence and the chance to develop constantly. The changing demographics of an aging population and simultaneous surge in the number of people with tertiary education have implications for the Financial Services sector. This is an area enjoying considerable growth.
Financial Planner and Wealth Manager
You will be a highly professional individual who has a competent track record in a regulated sales role and capable of producing over £100,000 in annual revenue. This could be either commission or fee based. You should be looking to join an organisation that is at the forefront of fee based advice in the UK and be a strong relationship builder and able to transfer a loyal client bank (or introducer base). As a minimum, you will hold the full FPC, suitable mortgage qualification and willing to progress towards AFPC.
Working With MLP
Initially, the role will be developing new business from your existing client/introducer bank but MLP will help you into developing a fee based business. Advising clients on their full financial planning requirements will enable you to develop your expertise in their affinity professions. This will be with the full support and benefit of their marketing initiatives. You will also have the use of bespoke financial modeling software to provide a context within which you can give advice and which your clients can use to make decisions. As a whole of market IFA, you will also benefit from excellent market rates and full renewal commission.
